THE POWER OF SWEAT

Do you know how to produce SWEAT? The easiest way is by having some sports or exercises. Why SWEAT can be the Power? Because by having some exercises we can be healthier and high-spirited.
What is the correlation?
For sure, I know nothing about medical theories behind the sweat and health. However, I assure you that after having some exercises, I feel healthier, I perform better, I think positive and I increase my self-esteem. There's no special formula on how to start having some exercises. What I do so far is by jogging for about 15 minutes as a start. While jogging, please relax your mind and enjoy the steps of your feet. Don't try to push your speed. Take enough rest if you feel tired. The importance thing is regularity. So, you don't need to take far distance at the beginning. Say, take only 1.5 km. Then on the next 2 weeks, take the same distance. After you feel comfortable with that distance and you produce no more sweat, then increase the distance to 2 km. Do this regularly, step-by-step, increasing the distance farther and farther.
Now, I regularly do jogging for 3 km. And it takes only around 20-25 minutes.
OK, have a nice try.
Get SWEAT and GAIN HEALTH.

I've been listening to motivational speeches on The Importance of Being Positive. One of them is the 7-day mental diet by Anthony Robbins. The point is that we should be positive at anything in any situation. Difficult? Nope. It's just hard to do.
According to Robbins, we must struggle to keep positive in a 7-day mental exercise with no single negative thought. If we fall to negative thoughts before day 7, we should start all over from day 1. Wow....
I've trying this several times. And I always fail to complete it in 7 days.
I've been reading Paulo Coelho's Pilgrimage. It also offers certain exercises both mental and physical. What I remember and practice is the exercise of 'cruelty'. So, whenever we think something negative or bad, I press my nail to my finger until it hurts and therefore I forget the negative thought. It works.
There are a lot of exercises in that book. Sometimes I also practice Water Exercise. Here, we play our finger freely with a drop of water on any flat surface, following our intuition. It is said that it can train our intuitive decision. And it's true. I often practice it while playing SUDOKU - one of my favorite games - to decide the appropriate number to fill in the box.
And.............
On Tuesday, May 28, 2013, something happened. One of my colleagues told me that people at my office figured out that my work performance decreased. They thought that it might be due to my frustration of being  ousted from my previous position of the head of a section. Blaaar..... What a horrible gossip!
It shocked me and I couldn't stop thinking about that in several days. It forced me use the techniques I've learned on Mental Exercises: Positive Thinking, Cruelty and Water Exercise.
Yuppie.....it works.
Finally I find that cosmic awareness will eventually make me understand the work of mind and then control it for the best use.

Have a nice try.

Conscience

Is conscience really pure and clean?
Reading the news on injustice, scattered all over the pages of newspapers, I wonder why it's so hard for people to acknowledge and follow 'conscience'. If only people always followed their 'conscience', the world would be always in peaceful atmosphere.
Facing the real daily life, encountered by series of problems, I realize that it's difficult, indeed, just to listen to 'the sound of the pure heart', only to find out what the 'conscience' says. Though I know what the conscience tells me, I find it hard to act as it says. I tend to obey my logical if not emotional decisions.
The tips for me are: stop a while before deciding anything, pray to the Almighty God, keep a distance from the problem, and then decide. The decision I make will then fit any justice viewpoints.
I hope so.

LIVING LOVE

One of Dhammapada teachings: living love in thought, word, and action,
That teaching really fits me right. What I have learnt from other 'spiritual' masters just sounds the same. Christ also said so: This is command: love others as you love yourself.
Living love, to me, means living my life with full of love to others as well as to me myself.
Love is patient, generous, sincere, humble. Love doesn't hurt. Love understands all. Love both closes and opens everything.
Love the universe and all the inhabitants.

Love,
Happy

The Paradoxical Commandments

I just wrote down "The Paradoxical Commandments" for my status in Facebook. Some people gave comments and questions. Actually, you can just simply click www.paradoxicalcommandments.com. It was written by Kent M Keith. I know nothing about him and I haven't read his book either. What I know is just the commandments consisting of a list of anyways.
People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.
Love them anyway.

If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Do good anyway.

If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway.

The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway.

The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest men and women with the smallest minds.
Think big anyway.

People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.
Fight for a few underdogs anyway.

What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway.

People really need help but may attack you if you do help them.
Help people anyway.

Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth.
Give the world the best you have anyway.

Later, the commandments were quoted by someone who wrote them down on Mother Teresa's wall:

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

In my opinion, it elaborates His commandment: LOVE YOUR ENEMIES, which I realize that it is easier said than done.
